Much thanks to Michelle Schaeffer of Koken Art Factory for booking our Beggars Carnivale Review for the Naughti Gras celebration weekend! The event was a blast, held in an amazing warehouse behind Koken Art with plenty of space for 300 pieces of art, including live models, rope performances by Bound To Love and some exciting ice sculptures! Siren, our beautiful hostess with the most-est, introduced a number of burlesque, fire, bellydancing, and aerial acts. Performances by yours truly, Meg-A-Legs, and Quixotic Fusion‘s amazing Megan Stockman swung high above the crowd and dazzled the audience.
But wait, there was more! In a space behind the main room, tables were set up in front of indoor food trucks, like the famous Chop Shop (my favorite sushi truck) and a stage for bands like Ellen the Felon to play while you ate. What an event! Good job, Koken!
